Digitizing is converting analogue data into digital form. At this point you could say you have "digitized" your pressure measurement. This is DIGITIZATION.

In the day-by-day life en example can be using a digital camera, instead of a film camera, then you have digitized your pictures.

Once you have it digital you start the journey of using the "digits" to get electronic databases and enter the world of machine learning, automation, and data analytics. With Digitization your company can increase drastically the operational efficiency by using better technology, but your business model will not change. Thanks to those technologies and wearable devices they were able to get, track and analyse customers parameters and with the use of Artificial Intelligence help to diagnose if there was a potential health issue.  These cases opened new business models, in the healthcare industry, and are a hint of what you could do with implementation of full power of DIGITALIZATION in your business.
